Join Kinonik this First Friday, April 7 at 7 PM, as we continue our Myth and Metamorphosis Series with Pygmalion, Anthony Asquith’s faithful adaptation of Shaw’s play, with Professor Higgins (Leslie Howard) brutishly sculpting Eliza into a “lady.” The memorable training montage has been described as “an expressionist nightmare.” A pre-war British gem.

Pygmalion will be screened at Lo-Motion, 10 Exchange Street, Portland, Maine.
